Probably my all-time favourite song by an Aussie artist. It still give me goosebumps in 2024. My then local radio station (4GY Gympie) was thrashing this song come the start of the August 1969 Queensland school holidays. I started to seriously listen to the pop music of the day in the middle of that year as a grade 9 high school student. Many years later I listened to a countdown on a Brisbane radio station which adjudged the song, together with its also popular flip side, The Girl That I Love, as having been the biggest hit of 1969 in Brisbane. Thank you for sharing it.
